Contextual Architecture Study 

In this project we are to identify a building in Asia and investigate related issues. Based on the selected building, we are to conduct literature review based on its vernacular architecture references. My case 
study is the Telegraph Pole House, Langkawi, it is strongly influenced by Malay vernacular architecture.

Case Study Paper

We were to identify specific topic question and define a study scope by using the selected building. A concept mind mapping was created to list the issues, then 3-5 research questions are proposed to give an overview of the report.

In this project, I gained in-depth knowledge of understanding and identifying traditional vernacular architectural styles. Also, better research in identifying and relating modern buildings to traditional buildings.
