Project 1 - Industrialised Building System
In the 1st project. we were required to design a 3-storey apartment block with the use of IBS construction system in a group of 6. A physical model with scale 1:50 was constructed to using IBS construction process. A video presentation on the construction process was submitted as well.Video Link:

After the completion of this project, IBS construction system was exposed and understood.
Knowledge of appropriate IBS construction method was gained and well applied in the scale model.
Project 2 - Construction Solutions
In the 2nd project, we were tasked as individuals to produce 4 precedent studies of construction system which is applicable in Design Studio. Roofing, flooring and facade system precedents were conducted. Also sectional perspective of 2 chosen spaces were used to determine the workability of our design studio.
Through this project, knowledge of different construction principles, materials and techniques were observed and assimilated. Proper changes were made in design studio to fit construction systems.
